Emma Walden married John Harris in 1851. John's age is given as 21 in the 1851 census, 38 in the 1861 census and 40 in the 1871 census. He always says that he was born in Southwark.
John's father is given as William but I can find no way of connecting William with Hanham, Gloucs. It would be nice to think that this was the same family as that of Mark Harris (who narried Elizabeth Walden), but I can't establish any connection.
