It says that Robert Kuhler was confirmed in the Lutheran church of St. Johannes in Lodz, in the village of Lasieczno on 25 Nov 1885. This is how a Polish native speaker would spell his place of birth. The actual record of his birth was found in the records of a parish in Nowosolna which was a village on the Eastern side of Lodz. According to this Robert Kuhler was born in Sasieczno on 25 Nov 1885.
In the Nowosolna birth record he appears under the name Karol Kieler, but the different spelling of his surname can easily be explained by translations/transcriptions between the various languages used in the area.
