1. The record of his marriage is taken from Michael Gandy's marriage index. The record is of Richard Faith batchelor of Denton to Anne Bass spinster of this parish by Banns in Wootton 16/2/1785. We know from the will of his mother that he was in Denton in 1810, so it seems safe to take this as the correct record.
2. The record of his burial in Denton in 1734 says that he was aged 73, which is also a confirmation that this is the right guy.
3. I haven't searched for his children, but some possibles have turned up.
i. Richard Faith of Denton, buried aged 28 in Denton 15/12/1813.
ii. John Faith married to Elizabeth Cox in Elham 6/10/1811 (both o.t.p.)
iii. Thomas Faith married to Jane Richards in Denton 28/12/1811 (both o.t.p.)
3. In looking around the cemetery of Denton parish church, there are four gravestones devoted to Richard Faith and his children.
(1) Sacred to the memory of Richard Faith Senr late of this parish who died 13th August 1834 aged 73 years leaving issue of Ann his widow 3 sons and 2 daughters viz. Thomas William Francis Ann and Jane.
(2) In memory of John Faith late of Whitstable son of Richard and Ann Faith of this parish who died 31 June 1834 at the age of 18 years. Also of Bromley Faith son of the above Richard and Ann who died 1st June 1831 aged 16 years.
(3) To the memory of two sons of Richard and Ann Faith of this parish Vis. Samuel died 7th November 1811 aged 17 years, Richard died 19th December 1812 aged 28 years.
(4) To the memory of two children of Richard and Ann Faith of this parish viz. Caroline died 3rd April 1807 aged 14 days, Susanna died 3rd June 1808 aged 6 months.
