2. There is an entry on FREEBMD for the marriage of a Marie Podesta, daughter of Dominic Podesta, to Paul Bartesaghi in Knaresborough in 1921. The age of 26 appears exactly right, and taken together with the evidence that her sister Theresa may have turned up in Knaresborough, it seems fair to conclude that this is our Marie from Eastbourne. As yet there is no evidence for any children of the marriage.
