1. Rita Pettit tells me that there is a marriage licence for the marriage at Deal in 1693 of Gabriel Pettit (aged 25, Maltster) and Margaret May. The age matches the date of birth of Thomas Pettit's son Gabriel.
2. He died in 1702, leaving the following inventory (transcribed with the assistance of Rita Pettit):
