PARTIES Francis John SUMNER of Eathorpe Park, Warwickshire. Esquire. William BULLOCK of Thornsett Hamlet, Parish of Glossop, Derbyshire. Plumber SUBJECT Francis Sumner is granting a 999 year lease on property in Glossop, Derbyshire, to William Bullock at a rent of £2/13/-d per annum. It consists of a plot of 363 square yards on the East side of the road from Hayfield to Bisley. There is a building on the plot which the lessor undertakes to maintain and rebuild as required. The second Indenture is for a similar 999 year lease at a rent of £5/-/-d per annum between the same parties. This plot is in the Parish of New Mills, Derbyshire, but we are told that this was formerly in the Parish of Glossop.
