Joseph Tucker Burton ALEXANDER of The Bury, Pavenham, Bedfordshire. Esquire. William George JARVIS of Leicester. Hosier. SUBJECT Joseph Alexander is mortgaging property in Kempston, Bedfordshire, to William Jarvis for £3,000. The property is detailed in a schedule as consisting of 43 pieces of land totalling about 380 acres and including 2 farmhouses and several cottages. The various pieces are identified by piece numbers on the 1901 Ordinance map. The attached memorandum records that by November 1905 a further £1,000 had been advanced by William Jarvis, and at that time a second mortgage of £11,000 was also secured on the property. We are told that Joseph Alexander acquired the property from the Will of his mother, Mary Burton Alexander. | ||||||||||||
