Thomas Alfred RISING of Great Yarmouth (Solicitor)
Charlotte PORTER the wife of Henry Searles PORTER of Unthanks Road, Norwich (Builder)
Thomas CARR of Heigham, Norfolk (Carpenter and Builder)
The document begins by reciting that in 1888 Charlotte Porter purchased a plot of land which was part of the glebe lands of the Vicarage of Eaton, Norfolk. By 1890 she had laid it out as a building estate (to be called the Eaton Glebe Estate) and had built a new road called College Road across it. She then mortgaged the whole plot to Thomas Rising for £5264.
In this Indenture, she is selling off 8 building plots to Thomas Carr for £391, all of which will be paid direct to Thomas Rising. Thomas Carr undertakes to build 6 houses by June 1899.
