PARTIES The Berkshire Estates Company Limited John DOVER of Oxford, Oxfordshire. Builder. SUBJECT The Berkshire Estates Company is granting a plot of land in Swindon to John Dover at a rent of £10/7/-d per annum. The plot is 69ft x 80ft on the corner of North Road and New Road at Eastcott in the Parish of Swindon. John Dover undertakes to build one or more dwelling houses within the next year at a value of not less than £150. In the second indenture of 1873 John Dover pays the Berkshire Estates Company £207 to be released from the rent charge.
