We are told that Thomas Nicholson, Michael Payne and Harrington Lee, are surrendering this property and that William Boare and Wilson Fawcett are being admitted to it. In reality, these two latter are holding it in trust for Joseph Arrowsmith who has paid £40 for it. There is mention that Joseph Arrowsmith has also bought a substantial area of freehold land in Coatham Mundaville from Thomas Nicholson for £3528.
