Anne Walker of Sibton House, Parish of Lyminge. Kent. Widow. John Nethersole of Deal, Kent. Wine Merchant William Nethersole of Deal, Kent. Wine Merchant Mary Court Bass of Great Mongeham Kent, Spinster. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting that Edward John Bass mortgaged property in Great Mongeham, Kent in 1854 for £450. The mortgage eventually was transferred to Elizabeth Baker Kelcey (a cousin of Edward Bass) who forgave half the debt. Elizabeth Kelcey died in 1887 having appointed Anne Walker (formerly Anne Bass) and the two Nethersoles as Executors and Trustees. Edward Bass has since died and his daughter, Mary Bass, has repaid the outstanding half of the loan to the Executors. Accordingly, they are now reconveying the property to her. It consists of various parcels of land known as THE SIX ACRES and THE STREET MEADOW, in Great Mongeham, Kent. | |||||||||||
