| PARTIES
Amon ANSCOMBE of Lydd, Kent. Baker. Joseph HORTON of Hythe, Kent. Miller. William BATEMAN of Folkestone, Kent. Surgeon. Silvester EASTES of Folkestone, Kent. Surgeon. Note that Joseph Horton, William Bateman and Silvester Eastes are acting as Trustees of the Folkestone, Hythe and Sandgate Permanent Building Society. SUBJECT Amon Anscombe is mortgaging property in Lydd to the Folkestone, Hythe and Sandgate Building Society for £275. It consists of a messuage with bakehouse on the South East side of Wheelers Green. A memorandum dated 1886 has been added on the back in which the Building Society acknowledges that the mortgage has now been repaid. This is singed by the Trustees of 1886 who are William Bateman, Edmund Kingsford and John Sherwood. Note that there is no revenue stamp on this document, but the memorandum on the back clearly implies that the mortgage was actually completed. | ||||||||||||
