Thomas MUDDEMAN of Nottingham. Builder. Thomas GREGG of Sneinton, Nottinghamshire. Storekeeper. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting that a 99 year lease on property in Nottingham was granted to Thomas Muddeman by the Freemans Committee of the Town of Nottingham in January 1857. At the same time Thomas Muddeman mortgaged it for £100. He is now selling the residue of the lease to Thomas Gregg for £400 with the mortgage still outstanding. The property is a plot of 1047 square yards in the parish of St Mary Nottingham, bounded on the North West by Raleigh Street. It contains 12 houses which were in the course of erection in January 1857 but which have since been completed by Thomas Muddeman. The separate letter is from Thomas Gregg to the Freemans Committee of Nottingham informing them of the assignment. | |||||||||||
