George VERNON of Hilderstone Hall, Parish of Stone, Staffordshire. Gentleman. Richard KEYS of Stoke, Parish of Stone, Staffordshire. Brassmaker. John BLAGG of Cheadle, Staffordshire. Gentleman. SUBJECT We are told that George Vernon and Richard Keys have been co-partners as Brassmakers, but now George Vernon is selling his half-share of the property, business and asets to Richard Keys for £4500. The property consists of 2 plots of land totalling a little more than 1 acre with a dwellinghouse, brassworks and offices. It is all in Stoke in the Parish of Stone, bounded on one side by the Grand Trunk Canal. John Blagg acts only as a Trustee and plays little real part. We are told that his function is only to prevent any wife of Richard Keys acquiring any rights to dower in the property. | ||||||||||||
