SUBJECT William Hodge is granting a 9-year lease on property in Wigton, Cumberland, to James Thornborrow, at a rent of £120 per annum. It consists of a dwellinghouse and 64 acres of land at Bushgillhead. It appears that James Thornborrow already occupies the farm and so, presumably, has had an ealier lease on it.
