SUBJECT This is a supplementary account for succession duty due on the estate of Ann Sims who died in 1846. She had apointed Robert Hart as her sole executor, but he died in 1860 leaving his widow, Mary Hart, to assume the duty. The only item mentioned is the proceeds of the sale of 2 dwellinghouses, blacksmith's and wheelwright's shops, and 2 cottages with gardens in Hackford next Repham. The proceeds of this sale amount to £330, and Mary Hart declares that they are to be divided between her four children: James William Hart, Maria Hart, Henry Robert Hart, and Mary Ann Allsebrook Gardiner. | ||||||||||||
