John DOWNES of Woodend, Parish of Evesbach, Herefordshire. Gentleman. James ALLCOTT of The Farm, Bosbury, Herefordshire. Gentleman. Richard KENDRICK of Bosbury, Herefordshire. Gentleman. John PRITCHARD (d) of Bosbury, Herefordshire. Yeoman. SUBJECT We are told that James Allcott and Richard Kendrick are the Executors and Trustees of John Pritchard. In his will they were instructed to sell his property and use the proceeds to pay off his debts. This Indenture relates to some property in Bosbury which John Pritchard had mortgaged to John Downes for £250 in 1797. It consists of: 1. Cottage called Stanley Gate with 4 acres of land. 2. Dwellinghouse called Stanley Mill together with 6 small parcels of land. The Executors are now redeeming the mortgage by paying John Downes £273/6/6d to include the outstanding interest.
