Charles Penton of Bransbury, Parish of Barton Stacy, Hampshire. Gentleman. Robert Tilbury of Bransbury, Barton Stacy, Hampshire. Farmer. Harry Footner of Andover, Hampshire. Gentleman. George Langridge of High Street, Aldershot, Hampshire. Butcher. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting that a 999 year lease was given to Henry Penton on property in Aldershot in 1859 at a rent of 1s (shilling) per annum. Then in 1859 Henry Penton mortgaged the residue of the lease to Charles Penton for £850. Default was made on the mortgage leaving Charles Penton with power to sell the lease. George Langridge is now buying it for £680. The property is a plot of land 25ft x 80ft near the South Camp in Aldershot with a tenement and outbuildings erected by Henry Penton. On the cover of the document the plot is said to be in High Street, Aldershot. | |||||||||||
