We are told that Thomas BUN is the only son and heir of Elizabeth, late wife of Allan BUN, who was daughter and heir of Humphrey SELDEN (deceased) of East Angmering, Sussex. Bricklayer. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting an Indenture of 1676 in which Thomas BUN mortgaged property in Goring, Sussex, to Thomas LIMBRIS for £15. The following year this mortgage was increased to £26/16/6d. Thomas BUN is now borrowing a further £10 and with added interest the amount owing is now £38/17/6d.
