John TEAGUE of Walford, Herefordshire. Yeoman. AND Elizabeth his wife. John WHITING of Walford, Herefordshire. Yeoman. Thomas COOKE of Ross, Herefordshire. Apothecary. SUBJECT This is the second part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which John and Elizabeth Teague are selling property in Walford for £40. It is a parcel of arable land called the Far Ground containing 1 acre at Mayoo ? Hill. The property is being conveyed to both John Whiting and Thomas Cooke although we are told that John Whiting pays £40 and Thomas Cooke only pays 5 shillings. The ' small print ' in the final clauses of the document only mention John Whiting which seems to imply that Thomas Cooke is not really very much involved. | |||||||||||||
