SUBJECT The document begins by reciting an Indenture of 1857 in which property in Mumby, Lincolnshire, was mortgaged to John Hart the Elder and Anthony Portington for £250. The property consists of a cottage with 2 parcels of land totalling 4 acres called Pine Hill and South Common in the Parish of Mumby. The property was in the occupation of Joseph Grant (who was probably the mortgagor). James Hart the Elder and Anthony Portington are now transferring the mortgage to John Hart the Younger and Lister Wilson.
