Radcliffe SIDEBOTTOM of the Middle Temple, London. Esquire. Joseph LORD of Oldham, Lancashire. Cotton Weaver. SUBJECT Radcliffe Sidebottom is granting a 999 year lease on a plot of land in Oldham. It contains 616 square yards and is part of a close called Methodist Meadow or Barley Crofte on the South side of the turnpike from Oldham to Manchester. This appears to be part of a farm or estate called Benthall belonging to Radcliffe Sidebottom and which has been marked out with intended roads ready for development.
