Sarah Askew of Broadland, Hampshire, Widow Christopher Crackenthorpe Askew (deceased) of Broadbush near Petersfield, Hampshire. Captain RN Subject This is a Deed made by Sarah Askew. It tells us that Christopher Askew, her late husband, who died in 1848, left his property to his wife for her lifetime and then to one or more of his children as she should appoint. She is now making that appointment in favour of her only daughter Cristina Crackenthorpe Askew. The property is a dwellinghouse formerly called Broadbush but now called Broadland, together with 6 acres of arable land called Stoney field, all at Broadbush in the tithing of Street, Hampshire. | ||||||||||||
