Isaac Newey of Birmingham, Warwickshire. Architect. Joseph Hinton of Birmingham, Warwickshire. Victualler. SUBJECT We are told that in 1847 Isaac Newey obtained a 99 year lease on land in Harborne, Staffordshire. The rent was £4/10/-d per annum an Isaac Newey undertook to erect a house on the plot which would cost not less than £400. This house has been built and Isaac Newey is now mortgaging the house and land to Joseph Hinton for £500. The plot of land contains 1214 square yards and fronts onto a road (newly laid out in 1847) leading from Harborne Village to the parish church. | |||||||||||||
