Ellis THOMPSON of Leeds, Yorkshire. Builder. Moxon THOMPSON of Leeds, Yorkshire. Builder. George Richard Lane FOX of Branham Park, Boston Spa, Yorkhire. Esquire. MP. Geoerge Lane FOXof Branham, Tadcaster, Yorkshire. Esquire. SUBJECT The document is an Abstract of Title of Ellis and Moxon Thompson to property in Alwoodley,Yorkshire. The final line says "Registered at Wakefield 25/4/1923" from which I have taken the date of the document. The property is mainly to the West of Harrogate Road and to the North of Nursery Lane, and is known as Hawks Nest Farm. The abstract begins with details of the Will of George Lane Fox who died in 1896 leaving an estate which includes this property. It passed first to James Thomas Richard Lane Fox and then, after his death in 1906, by his Will to his son George Richard Lane Fox. Many other members of the Lane Fox family are mentioned. In April 1923 Hawks Nest Farm was sold to Ellis and Moxon Thompson for £10,500. | |||||||||||||
