TESTATOR John Adamthwaite of Oak Hill, Parish of Checkley, Staffordshire. Esquire. SUBJECT This was a will of John Adamthwaite written in August 1858, but a note on the cover says that it was cancelled and a new will made in May 1866. Accordingly, all the signatures have been cut off. It mentions his wife Maria Jane, his daughters Mary, Fanny and Lucy, and sons William Lupton and John.
