Robert CRUMP of Woodmansey, Yorkshire. Farmer. Hannah Ellis TODD of Selby, Yorkshire. Spinster. SUBJECT The document concerns copyhold property in the Manor of Beverley Water Towns. It consists of a farmhouse now divided into 2 tenements together with 3 acres of land at Woodmansey. We are told that this property had been in the possession of Thomas Crump ELBRINGTON who died intestate as a batchelor in 1880. His heir at law was his maternal uncle, Robert Crump to whom the property passed. Robert Crump is now mortgaging it to Hannah Todd for £200. The Indenture is a covenant to surrender it to Hannah Todd according to the customs of the Manor. The second Indenture of 1882 records that the mortgage has been paid off and returns the property to Robert Crump. | |||||||||||
