Clerk of Works. SUBJECT The indenture concerns a plot of land of 600 square yards known as number 1 Greenway Road in the Parish of Timperley, Cheshire. We are told that John Lister acquired this land (as part of a larger plot) in 1924. Then, in 1925, he borrowed £2,500 from Norman Pendlebury on a mortgage on this larger plot. John Lister is now selling the 600 square yard part to Robert Page for £650, but all the money will be paid to Norman Pendlebury.
