Summary of contents:
Parties Annie Charlotte Hill, wife of George Hill of 161 Commercial Street, Aberbargoed, Monmouthshire. Tailor James Andrew Jenkins, James Henry Parsons and Thomas Jones. These three are the trustees of the Cardiff District of the Independent Order of Rechabites Friendly Society. Subject Annie Hill is mortgaging the residue of a 99 year lease on property in Aberbargoed to the Rechabites Friendly Society for £200. The property is at No. 53 Pengam Road and the lease runs from 1907, at which time the house on it was built. An undated note on the back records that the mortgage was subsequently repaid. The typed letter included informs Lord Tredegar (the original lessee) of the mortgage.
