(The 3 above are acting as Trustees of the Town and Country Permanent Benefit Building Society) William Holdcroft of Bradley, Parish of Norton in the Moors, Staffordshire. Collier. Ralph Goodwin of Brown Edge, Norton in the Moors, Staffordshire. Collier. SUBJECT We are told that Ralph Goodwin had borrowed £62/10/-d from the Town and Country Building Society on a mortgage on property in Brown Edge, Norton in the Moors. Evidently, he defaulted on the repayments and the Building Society are now selling the property to William Holdcroft for £75. The property consists of a dwelling house and croft of land containing 2 roods, 25 perches. We are told that Ralph Goodwin had bought it in 1878.
