Samuel Archibald WENT of The Elms, Thames Ditton, Surrey. Gentleman. William Edward ELLISON of 'Dalkeith' Church Walk, Thames Ditton, Surrey. Gentleman. SUBJECT Samuel Went is selling property in Thames Ditton, Surrey to William Ellison for £125. It is plot of 50ft x 150ft marked out on the plan as two building plots on new (unnamed) roads. No houses have yet been built on the plots. (A memorandum of 1920 added on the back tells us that one of the two plots was sold in that year. It was then known as Lavender Cottage in Weston Park Road.) One schedule gives a list of conditions applying to any property built on the plot. In particular "no hut, shed, caravan or house on wheels" may be erected or allowed to remain on the plot. The vendor may forcibly enter the premises to remove any such erection. A second schedule lists Deeds relating to the property beginning in 1875. Mary Ann Went was a party to the first entry in 1875 and she conveyed it to Samuel Went in 1880. | |||||||||||||
