Thomas Crowhurst of Hastings, Sussex. Yeoman. John Fowle of 15 Cowill Terrace, Kings Road, Chelsea, Middlesex. Gentleman. Henry Edwards Paine of Rye, Sussex. Gentleman. Henry Beck of St Leonards, Sussex. Draper. SUBJECT The indenture concerns property at number 16 Undercliff, St Leonards, Parish of St May Magdalen, Sussex. The document begins by reciting a lease for 90 years from 1828 given to Henry Hughes at a rent of £15 per annum. In 1832 and 1833 Henry Hughes borrowed a total of £620 from David Manser secured on this lease. The mortgage was then transferred to Thomas Crowhurst, John Fowle and Henry Paine in 1844. Henry Hughes has defaulted on the loan and these three are now selling the residue of the lease to Henry Beck. | ||||||||||||
