The property consists of 3 adjoining messuages together with one barn and one cottage close to Walkergate in Otley. The document begins by reciting an Indenture of 1849 in which Abraham Holmes acquires the property. He then borrows £500 by mortgaging it to Joseph Darnbrook. This £500 is still owing and will be paid off out of the £660 purchase price.
