Note that James Edge is acting as a trustee under the will of Elizabeth Alice Ramsden who died in 1916. Elizabeth Ramsden had aquired the lease in 1902 when she was then Elizabeth Haslam, the wife of Edmund Haslam. She was widowed in 1912 and married Peter Ramsden in 1913.
