Subject
This is a conveyance of premises in Clay Cross, Derbyshire to all the next 16 parties 'with the approbation of The Rev. William Targett'.

(The document doesn't seem to make clear what all the 16 purchasers have in common, but note that the Rev. William Targett is described as 'The superintendant preacher of the circuit of the Primitive Methodist Connexion'. In the clause about 'Uses and Trusts' there is reference to the uses and trusts in a Deed for the Settlement of a Place of Religious Worship at Walworth, Surrey by the Primitive Methodists. The obvious guess is that this land is being purchased for use as a church.)
