William Priestley of Thorp Arch, Halifax, Yorkshire. Esquire Rev William Gurney of Lightcliffe, Yorkshire. SUBJECT We are told that a piece of land in Hipperholme cum Brighouse, Yorkshire, is being conveyed by William Priestley to the curacy of the Parish of Lightcliffe. The plot contains 1 acre and is part of a field called the Four Days Work, and is bounded by the public road from Halifax to Wakefield on the North side. In this indenture, William Priestley undertakes to produce deeds dating from 1797 relating to his property upon any reasonable request by the Rev Gurney. | |||||||||||||
