SUBJECT
This document begins by reciting that William Croudson of Wigan, Lancashire, acquired property in Pemberton, Lancashire in 1836. He was then declared bankrupt in September 1848 with John Fraser, William Fallows and Robert Leach appointed and chosen as Assignees.

William Croudson had also deposited the Title Deeds to the property with William Ellison as security for a loan of £80. The 3 Assignees are now conveying the property to William Ellison having satisfied themselves that £80 is a full value for the premises.

We are told that the property is a dwelling house with garden in Pemberton.
