SUBJECT
John and George Lees are giving a 900 year lease on property on Oldham to the other 4 parties at a rent of £62/15/-d. The property consists of a plot of 2325 square yards on the West of Wood Street, bounded on the East by Lord Street.

In the second Indenture of 1858 3 of the lessors surrender the residue of the lease to John and George Lees. For some reason, Benjamin Fielding is not a party to this surrender.

We are told that John Lees (the grandfather of the 2 parties to this contract) acquired 999 year lease on their property in 1809.
