Walter Herbert WRIGHT of Matlock Bridge, Derbyshire. Dental Surgeon. George POYSER of 55 Holland Road, Chorlton cum Hardy, Lancashire. Gentleman. SUBJECT Note that the Rev Gell and John Crompton are Lords of the Manor of Matlock and James Potter is Steward of the Manor, The document results form the sale by Walter Wright to George Poyser of property in Matlock. Accordingly, Walter Wright first surrenders the property to the Lords of the Manor who then admits George Poyser to it on payment of a fine of 3d. The property consists of 2 dwelling houses known as 'Lyndhurst' and 'Greenholme' on a plot of 720 square yards, bounded on the East by Dale Road and on the West by Holt Lane.
