Thomas Metcalfe BARRON of Darlington, Durham., Gentleman. Henry William GRAHAM late of Whessor, Darlington, but now of Manfield, York, Farmer. Sarah Jane DOBBING of Fighting Cocks, Durham. Spinster. Henry Andrew William COCKS (deceased) of Middleton St George, Durham. Gentleman. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting that Henry Cocks acquired property at Fighting Cocks in 1883. He died in 1894 leaving a Will in which Thomas Barron and Henry Graham were appointed as Trustees empowered to sell all his real estate (except for one dwelling house occupied by Michael Francis OGDEN). Accordingly, the two trustees are now selling a parcel of land of 174 square yards to Sarah Dobbing for £160. It lies on the East side of the highway from Fighting Cocks in Middleton and contains a dwelling house and shop with cottage or workshop. | |||||||||||||
