James MUSTCHIN of Broadwater, Sussex. Shepherd. Charles GILBERT of Lewes, Sussex. Gentleman. SUBJECT James Mustchin appears to owe Charles Gilbert £50. We are told of an obligation for this sum which carries a further penalty of £100, but the debt is also being secured on this mortgage. The mortgage is on a messuage and croft of land in the Parish of Sompting, Sussex, known as Michelbornes. There is a curiosity that we are told of John GREENFIELD the younger of Steyning, Sussex, Sheriff Officer, who appears to be jointly liable for this debt even though 'the same being the proper debt of James Mustchin only'. | |||||||||||||
