Robert Manser of Hertford, Hertfordshire. Gentleman. William Manser of Rotherhithe, Surrey. Gentleman. Issac Sharples of Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Gentleman. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting indentures of Lease and Release of 1795 by which Robert Manser acquired property in Great Anwell, Hertfordshire for £600. He is now borrowing £400 from Issac Sharples on security of that property. It consists of 15 acres of land known by the name of Chelsmire(?) Great Marlands and Little Marlands, bounded on the East by Marlands (or Maylins) Lane, leading from Rush Green to Stanstead. (I am not sure quite how William Manser comes into it - maybe he was a trustee when Robert Manser first bought the property). | ||||||||||||||
