William Stokes of Chichester, Sussex. Grocer. John Sayers Markwick of West Tarring, Sussex. Gentleman (died 1857). George Chandler of West Tarring, Sussex. Carpenter. Subject We are told that John Sayers Markwick died in 1857 leaving all his property to his 2 trustees, William Stokes and George Chandler. The trustees are to sell the property and invest the proceeds in Government Bonds (but this document does not reveal what they are to do with the income - no beneficiaries are named). Since then, William Stokes has refused to act as a trustee and is now being released from his obligations. | ||||||||||||
